I know! But when I saw this at Cruel Site of the Day last week, I checked it out, there's a whole industry around this! Pageants! Photographers who specialize in the "living doll" thing. Utterly and thoroughly horrifying.
The mothers who pimp their 3 year olds on the pagent circuit are bad enough but this is one step more creepy.
1) It is not right for a 5 year old to be wearing makeup.
2) It is not right for a grown man to make a 5 year old look like she is wearing even more makeup.
3) It is not right that after makeup and Photo Shopping, this 5 year old looks like she's wearing more makeup than I do when I go out to a party.
4) It is not right that these girls will grow up thinking that the only way they'll be truly pretty and accepted is if they wear makeup and are cg enhanced.
5) It is just not right. Period.
Personally, I have always thought they look like little bitty Barbie Zombies. Drink the koool-aiiiiiiid.... Driiiiiiink the Kooooool-Aiiiid!!
