Oh wow! Oh wow! Oh wowie-wow-wow-wowie-WOW. I just figured out the mysterious root of my bizarre current happiness! Dave's as well! OKC... well, that idk.
Dave! Did YOU know? I didn't know! Though I must certainly have sensed it on some preternatural level and reacted accordingly with unaccustomed happiness!
I had to read about it on Chelsea's blog. Not only is this a excellent piece of blog entry with which I agree whole-heartedly (even as I writhe with envy and whine, 'Why didn't I write this?'), but it contains the news I did not know. The news I knew not. The not-known news that has revved me up considerably more than my currentbucket mug of coffee.
Joss Whedon has a new project coming out this fall.
I repeat: JOSS WHEDON HAS A NEW PROJECT COMING OUT THIS FALL.
How come I didn't know this? Why didn't anyone tell me? (DAVE!!!)

You know, Buffy changed my life. Seriously. You may think I'm joking but I'm not.
Me and the kids, we've been watching it AGAIN this summer. I tell the kids, "You've been watching Buffy for most of your lives! I breastfed Rainy for three seasons of Buffy! You kids are the Buffy generation! You're the chosen kids! You're my little slayers!"
They don't think I'm funny; they want me to please be quiet so they can hear Buffy.
I said the other day, I swear I did, "You know, if I created this series I would die a happy woman. I wouldn't do another thing for the rest of my life; I'd just be happy that I created Buffy."
Sierra's all, "What about Firefly? You wouldn't have created Firefly?"
I thought about it for a moment. "Well. I would have created Firefly. Yeah, I woulda done that."
She goes, "What about Angel?"
I had to seriously pause and consider it. "Nah," finally. "I don't think I would have created Angel. I just, I don't know, wouldn't have..."
Obviously we are having a very slow summer; the high point of our day is Buffy Philosophy.
But I've g2g. I've gt an essay on Zenzele plus, idk, a whole bunch of other stuff and plus my stomach's been kind of sick. (No fridge? Food poisoning? No doubt!)
Later...

Hmmmm, the only Joss-news I've heard lately is that he'll be doing a Wonder Woman film, but that's mostly just rumor.
;) Sorry, I don't keep my finger on the pulse of entertainment news
